My name is Joost Schuringa. Being 25 years old I am the youngest of the family. In July 2007 I got my Bachelor's degree in Social Pedagogy from the Hanzehogeschool Groningen. Just like Jort I am also a freelance contractor since July 2007. Besides that I am also active in the music and theater business with the theater and crossover festival (Noorderzon being the most important for me). Recently I started playing basketball again in the highest regional level again on the same team as Joep after having played in the national promotion league for the last few years.

I am really looking forward to walking the Appalachian Trail in 2009 and I hope we can collect a lot of money for the WSPA and the Idaho Black Bear Rehabilitation Center. The only disadvantage I foresee is having to miss my girlfriend Evelyn and my dog Peper for six months.
